Description Maine Medical CenterNursing MaineHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Primary Care & Internal Medicine team in beautiful Cape Elizabeth, Maine. This per diem temporary opportunity offers a flexible Monday through Friday clinical schedule with no weekend call or major holiday requirements, supporting a strong work-life balance. In this role, you will provide care to a general patient population in a welcoming, community-focused setting while supporting our team during a temporary staffing need. You'll work alongside a small, close-knit, and collaborative group of healthcare professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community, gain valuable experience within MaineHealth, and enjoy the flexibility of a per diem schedule while working in a supportive and engaging clinical environment. Summary: The MH Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care role provides high quality care to patients and families calling or presenting for care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.MH RN II: This level is competent in their clinical role and has demonstrated the ability to care for most patients assigned. Though not able to care for every patient type within their area of hire, demonstrates how to obtain the appropriate resources to develop required skills and knowledge over time. This level included automatic advancement after 1 year as a RN I - must be in good standing and meets RN I requirements. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
