Red Seat Ventures partners with the world's top creators across multiple genres to grow and monetize their content - through advertising, subscription, live events, and beyond. ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Manager, Agency Partnerships to join our growing team. In this role, you will build and manage strategic partnerships with the largest media agency holding companies, helping them expand their clients' audio and digital presence across our podcast network. Based in NYC, you will leverage extensive business development expertise, sophisticated solution-selling, and deep people skills to manage complex relationships across all levels at the largest agencies in the US.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive Strategy: Define the commercial strategy to maximize the impact, reach, and value of our host-read sponsorships and programmatic audio solutions across major U.S. Hold Cos.
  • Unlock Opportunities: Identify and develop strategic audio partnerships across various agency departments, from traditional media buying to programmatic trading desks.
  • Be the Expert: Act as the trusted primary point of contact, escalation point, and audio thought leader for your agency partners.
  • Elevate the Brand: Firmly establish Red Seat Ventures as a premium, brand-building, and performance-driving platform in the eyes of agency decision-makers.
  • Educate the Market: Develop and deliver our company's story at events, panels and industry conferences.
  • Consult & Solve: Understand your agencies' unique business models and develop tailored audio solutions-backed with research and attribution.
  • Provide Elite Service: Deliver best-in-class, white-glove client service across all facets of the agency, including Executive, Investment, Planning, and Programmatic Buying teams.
  • Collaborate Internally: Partner with cross-functional internal teams-including sales, talent management, research, attribution, ad operations, and programmatic yield teams-to drive revenue growth.
  • Track & Optimize: Monitor revenue performance across agency portfolio, taking full ownership of financial performance of HoCo's, ensuring annual and quarterly network revenue targets are met and exceeded.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Cross-Functional Influence: Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across a matrixed environment.
  • Audio Articulation: Deep understanding of both the premium host-read ecosystem and programmatic audio buying (including PMPs, SSPs, and targeting), with the ability to translate complex attribution metrics into plain language.
  • Agility: Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic, fast-paced, and rapidly growing media environment.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Education: BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Experience: 6-10 years of experience in business development, audio/podcast sales, media sales, agency account management, or online advertising.
  • Relationship Building: Proven experience working directly with agency executives to grow revenue through long-term strategic partnerships.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $128,000.00-180,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
