Purpose:

Worley is seeking an experienced Principal Project Planner to independently drive and lead planning and scheduling across complex engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects. This role requires advanced expertise in Primavera P6 and strong capability in schedule development, analysis, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and analyze an integrated plan including owner activities, engineering, supply chain, construction, and decommissioning schedules.
  • Lead Interactive Planning Sessions and validate schedule logic, durations, and interfaces with project stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain construction execution schedules, considering workpacks, job cards, resources and associated materials.
  • Establish and issue baseline schedules, basis of schedule, and schedule reports.
  • Collect progress and perform weekly schedule updates; integrate activities with EcoSys.
  • Analyze critical path, float trends, variances, and schedule performance indicators; recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and deliver schedule reports, dashboards, and variance analyses.
  • Perform schedule "what if" scenarios and schedule quality reviews; ability to use Acumen Fuse; and perform schedule risk analysis.
  • Able to create alternate reporting formats using Power BI or similar tools.

What you will bring
Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:

  • 20+ years of project planning experience in offshore engineering and construction environments.
  • Advanced understanding of systems, processes and tools related to offshore oil & gas projects which may include EcoSys, Acumen Fuse, and Power BI.
  • Strong working knowledge of EPC project execution, construction sequencing, and procurement strategies. Offshore decommissioning experience a plus.
  • Working experience for an owner/operator a plus.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.

Preferred:

  • Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 (required).
