Overview
VTG is looking for a Jr. Software Engineer to join our team. What will you do? * Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements * Debug existing software and correct defects using Python and C++ * Create and maintain a scalable, high-availability, mission system using modern system design principles. * Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards * Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components * Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design * Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces * Generate automation scripts as appropriate to improve workflow and efficiency. * Generate automate scripts as appropriate to improve workflow and efficiency.
