Temple University's Lewis Katz School of Medicine is searching for an Assistant Scientist! Salary Range: $40,000 - $46,000 Become a part of the Temple family and you will have access to the following: Position Summary: Independently handle experiments or research projects requiring advanced knowledge and experience in a specific scientific area or discipline. Maintains records of data, and may be involved in training graduate and medical students in research methods and procedures. Responsibilities include: Executing experimental protocols, maintaining records on all experiments, and maintaining equipment. Collect, and organize data using statistical software packages. Analyze research results and prepares results for presentation at meetings and conferences, research reports, manuscripts and papers. Make moderately complex decisions and resolve research problems within established protocols; require some independent judgment. Order supplies, examines instrument malfunctions, and assist in their repair. Performs other related duties as assigned.
