Responsibilities:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) on our team, you'll play a vital, hands-on role in helping patients recover strength, mobility, and independence. This is a highly collaborative and rewarding opportunity to work closely with a Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team, build your clinical skills, and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives every day.

  • Provides patient treatment using a variety of therapeutic interventions to support recovery of physical function and management of developmental conditions.
  • Applies knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan to deliver age-appropriate, effective care.
  • Supports the development and implementation of comprehensive rehabilitation programs addressing physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
  • Promotes patient and caregiver independence by connecting them with appropriate resources and support services.
  • Collaborates and communicates effectively with interdisciplinary care teams involved in patient treatment.
  • Supports discharge planning by working toward goals established at evaluation and throughout the episode of care.
  • Advocates for patients to ensure access to appropriate care, services, and resources.
  • Provides care across multiple settings, including inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, and community-based environments
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Less than one year of physical therapy experience required

  • Demonstrates foundational knowledge of physical therapy principles, including how and why treatments are performed, with ability to interpret patient data under supervision
