Serves as the Agency's Deputy Director of the Drug and Alcohol Testing Program and ensures compliance with federal regulations and the NYC DOT Controlled Substance and Alcohol Abuse Policy in administering drug and alcohol tests for approximately 2,700 marine and Commercial Driver License (CDL) employees to enforce the Agency's zero tolerance policy. Supervises the Drug and Alcohol Testing Coordinator in the day-to-day operation of mandated testing for Commercial Driver License (CDL) employees and supervises the Testing Assistant. Minimum Qualifications 1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, one year of which must have been in an administrative capacity or supervising staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty; or Preferred Skills Knowledge of the US Coast Guard (USCG), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. 55a Program This position is also open to qualified persons with a disability who are eligible for the 55-a Program.
