Basic Qualifications

Master's degree + minimum 6 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or equivalent relevant experience + minimum 8 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire with the ability to obtain a Polygraph within a reasonable amount of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Make a Difference in National Security as a Cyber Defense Leader
Join our team as a Cyber/Network Defense professional, leading analysts to safeguard critical systems. This role blends hands-on Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) with team leadership to protect our nation.

What You'll Experience:

  • Lead a team managing network defense, incident response, and compliance for enterprise systems.
  • Oversee and enhance core security tasks like SIEM monitoring, access management, and risk compliance.
  • Develop and implement team improvements, driving automation and modernization.
  • Mentor and guide a high-performing team of Cyber Defense Analysts.
  • Collaborate with leadership and government officials to achieve critical mission goals.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Cyber Defense experience and leadership in IT service and operations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Help Desk expertise with a focus on customer service and efficiency.
  • IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC, or SSCP).
  • Detail-oriented approach to maintaining audit and security systems.

  • Experience with Security Operations Centers, incident management, and threat hunting.
  • Familiarity with SAFe Agile methods and tools like Jira or Confluence.
  • Deep understanding of IT systems, Linux, and collaboration across IT disciplines.
