Job Type:RegularThe Warehouse Lead is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient end-of-production line operations and movement of product and inventory throughout warehouse and/or cooler environment. This position provides leadership for warehouse staff related to daily workflow.

Your role in achieving results:

  • Ensure accurate inventory accounting; assisting with Monthly and Quarterly inventories.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and related duties, executing with excellence.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of how warehouse department and shipping & receiving operate.
  • Hold mastery of all job functions in the warehousing area.
  • Handle all equipment and product efficiently and safely.
  • Train newer employees as appropriate.
  • Proactively communicate warehouse issues involving deficiencies to Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and data entry in a timely manner.
  • Consistently meet or exceed production goals.
  • Schedule and or direct employees as directed by Supervisor/Manager, appropriately addressing workflow needs.
  • Understand and comply with all Quality Assurance policies, and immediately report any potential food safety issues to management.
  • Assist Warehouse Supervisor/Manager with timekeeping as needed.
  • Monitor open cooler storage racks and storage requirements. (applies to Jerome only)
  • Assist Warehouse Supervisor/Manager in scheduling employees, appropriately addressing workflow needs.
  • Compute amounts, such as space available, shipping, storage, and demurrage charges, using calculator or price list.
  • Determine shipping method for materials using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
  • Procure temporary workers as needed.
  • Assist Supervisor/Manager in monitoring requisitions and the store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
  • Match bills of lading to paper work, container numbers and seal trucks.
  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Safety Protocol
    • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
    • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
    • Support safety policies and programs.

What we are looking for to deliver these results:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum three (3) years Shipping, Receiving & Warehouse experience required.
  • Slip Sheet Unit/ Powerlift Jack operation experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • Reach truck and pallet jack certification required.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
  • Able to provide current, direct, complete, and "actionable" feedback to others, identifying issues and taking appropriate action.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with colleagues and individuals inside and outside the organization.
  • Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, quality and cleanliness in work.
  • Able to exchange basic informational data (fill out forms/checklists, copy data from one record to another, etc.); interview to gather information; advise others on alternatives/options; coach and counsel others; read, understand and explain technical data.
  • Dedication to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; acts with customers in mind.
  • Results driven, bottom-line oriented, strives to exceed goals, and motivates self and others to achieve positive outcomes.
