Summary of Position:

Are you passionate about improving access to mental health services for children and adolescents? Join MedStar Medical Group's School-Based Mental Health team and play a key role in supporting programs that positively impact students, families, schools, and communities.

As a Program Coordinator II, you will provide day-to-day administrative and operational support for school-based mental health initiatives while partnering with clinicians, school personnel, community stakeholders, and families. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple projects, building relationships, analyzing data, and contributing to programs that make a meaningful difference.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of school-based mental health programs, including scheduling meetings, trainings, appointments, and community engagement activities with providers, schools, families, and program partners.
  • Serve as a key liaison between clinicians, school personnel, community stakeholders, and families to support program implementation, communication, and continuity of care.
  • Manage program documentation, correspondence, databases, dashboards, and reports while ensuring accurate data collection, tracking, and timely follow-up on program activities.
  • Support research, quality improvement, and evaluation initiatives through data management, survey administration, reporting, IRB-related activities, and outcome measurement as applicable.
  • Participate in community outreach, stakeholder engagement, and multidisciplinary teams to promote program success, enhance service delivery, and support the mental health needs of students and families.

Minimal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination, education, admissions, academic administration, healthcare, behavioral health, public health, or a related field.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Must have good knowledge of database systems; must be proficient in statistical software applications.
  • Must possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; work independently; perform in high pressure environment and respond to multiple demands.
