Pay:

• Starting Payrate: $21.72/hr.
• Will increase to $22.28/hr once certifications are obtained

Shifts:

• We require that you are flexible to work any shift, weekends, overtime, and some holidays.
• Schedule assignment upon hire is determined by plant needs.Once your training period begins, you will be assigned to a shift and/or schedule based on current plant need. You will be eligible to bid on other schedules, shifts and jobs.

Job Description:

The Hershey Company Memphis plant is a Non-Unionplant producing products such as Ice Breakers, Breath Savers, and Good & Plenty, in a high-speed complex environment.This position is responsible for all sanitation aspects of the plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to operate a forklift, man lift, and genie boom lift
• Must maintain the cleaning, inspection, and general maintenance checks on all scrubbers
• Must be able tolearn the infrastructure-related cleaning procedures throughout the facility.
• Must be able apply detail cleaning procedures throughout the plant
• Must be able to learn and adhere to the Facility's Waste Management Program
• Must be able to learn and adhere to the facility's GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) andHAZCOMM (Chemical Safety) requirements
• Must have the ability to work as a team player and have strong communication skills
• Must ensure your area meets the housekeeping standards throughout your shift
• Must be flexible to do any job that is assigned and participate in departmental meetings as required

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess a high school diploma/GED
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
• Must be flexible to work any shift during a 24-hour period (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and any variation of shift length (8 hours or 12 hours)
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays and overtime
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have the ability to understand and perform basic mathematics
• Must possess basic computer knowledge with ability to find and enter information
• Must be able to regularly stand and walk; and occasionally sit, bend at waist, turn, climb ladders and work from heights up to 30ft
