    What the day will look like

    As anAssistantVice President, you are the Lead Consultant on the Health Solutions client team supporting the Account Executive and responsible fortimely,accurate, and quality service of all client deliverables. In thispositionyou will act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients and oversee the client team and project management. The Health Solutions Assistant Vice President will collaborate with the client Account Executive tofacilitateexecution of overall strategy plus special projectsas needed. This position includes delegation of assignments to team members and peer review of their work, but also involves being actively involved in performing analysis, drafting client presentations,participatingin client meetings, andidentifyingclient needs for other services.

Additionally, the Assistant Vice Presidentwill:

  • Lead integrated efforts of internal Aon teamssuch asactuarial, audit, legal, and specialized broking teams
  • Foster the overall relationship with the client's vendor partners
  • Maintain an understanding ofhealthcare market trends and innovation
  • Leverage the rightresources to resolve client issues
  • Mentor, coach,and guide junior staff

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Tenplus years of experience in the group health and benefits industry with a strong working knowledge of benefits
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at one time

  • Advanced level ofproficiencyinMicrosoft Office Suite (Word,PowerPointand Excel)

Education

  • Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent years of industry experience
  • Must haveappropriate insurancelicense/life and health(can be fulfilled post-hire)
  • Project management certification is a plus

Pay Transparency Laws

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $107,000 - $130,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
