Department Summary The Department of Mathematics has 23 tenure system faculty, 19 professional Position Overview This position implements and manages a variety of Math Department programs and activities. Responsibilities include providing front office support for department personnel and visitors, managing all administrative duties related to the Mathematics graduate program (approx. 60 Master's and PhD students), coordinating support for department visitors (speakers, candidates etc) including managing calendars, publicity, and other logistics, as well as coordinating the department's social media presence. Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree and two years of office administration experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service Preferred Qualifications Associates degree. Two years experience in a college/university setting. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to work without close supervision. Proficient in Microsoft Office Experience in PeopleSoft a plus. Experience with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator a plus Required License/Registration/Certifications Job Duties
