Description
Seeking a highly motivated, team oriented, growth-minded intern with a positive attitude to join the Defense and Space unit within Skyworks. This internship experience provides learning opportunities where high performance and high-quality products are manufactured to customers for aerospace, defense, medical extreme industrial and high reliability markets and applications.The manufacturing area is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing methods, processes, and operations for new and existing products. Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products. The intern will have an opportunity to work with engineers in releasing new products. The production area focuses in specifying and implementing process control procedures and equipment that improve production efficiency and support manufacturing objectives. Because this position is within our Skyworks Defense and Space business where we have contracts with the US government, qualified candidates must have US Worker status. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$23.89 -$41.63 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
