This is an exciting opportunity for an Intern to join our Kratos Space Sales Engineering and Solution Architecture team. This is a technical internal support position to support the Solution Architecture team in building out the demonstration systems, making use of the Kratos OpenSpace platform. As part of building out the demonstration systems, this role will support our team in transforming raw data into meaningful insights. This role focuses on gathering data from different components and systems, using automated data flows to populate a database, developing dashboards, generating visualizations using Grafana (and Kratos OpsCenter), and working with various database tools to improve data accessibility and decision?making.

• Assist in designing, building, and maintaining interactive dashboards for the demonstration systems using Grafana and OpsCenter
• Collect, clean, and organize datasets from multiple sources
• Write queries (SQL or similar) to extract and manipulate data from relational and non?relational databases
• Support the development of automated data pipelines and reporting workflows
• Make use of available integrated AI components for data gathering, interpretation and presenting
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data needs and visualization requirements
• Troubleshoot dashboard issues, optimize queries, and ensure data accuracy
• Document processes, data sources, and visualization standards
• Maintain, Support and Document the Product Demonstration systems.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• Basic understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design
• Familiarity with Grafana, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools (Grafana preferred)
• Experience with SQL and at least one database platform (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Foundational understanding of Python or Java or similar language is a plus
• Basic Understanding of Kafka data streaming and integration is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
