Chaska Heights, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Chef/Cook to join our growing team. Chaska Heights Senior Living is located one mile north of Highway 212 off of Highway 41 in Chaska, Minnesota. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 136-unit, apartment-style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Chaska Heights provides a growing leadership team and staff. Join our team today! Position: Chef/Cook Hourly: $17.50/hour - $22.50/hour, depending on experience Service Area: 3120 N Chestnut St N, Chaska, MN 55318 Schedule: 1.0 FTE, Full - Time. The schedule is flexible if you are not able to work every weekend. Position Duties & Responsibilities: In this position, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations. Duties include: Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures. Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils. Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy. Ensure proper storage for food and supplies. Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures. Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in a senior living setting is preferred. Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees. Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
