The Crossings of Willmar Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Cook to join our team!

The Crossings of Willmar Senior Living is accessible from 19th Avenue SE or 24th Avenue SE, east of the Walmart Supercenter. This is more than a place to work-it is a place to thrive. Position: Cook

Hourly: $17.50/hour - $22.50/hour, depending on experience

Service Area: 2103 9th St SE, Willmar, MN 56201

Schedule: 0.2 FTE, schedule Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday / Week 2: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Position Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.


  • Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.


  • Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.


  • Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.


  • Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.


  • Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.


  • Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees.


  • Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
