Job Title: Security Engagement Engineer

Location(s): Atlanta, GA

Experience Level:

• 4+ years of relevant cybersecurity, security engineering, security architecture, or security operations experience with a related bachelor's degree.
• Alternative qualifications may include a master's degree with 2+ years of experience or extensive equivalent industry experience.

Core Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in security architecture, design, operations, or development.
• Experience across multiple cybersecurity domains, including:
  • Data Protection
  • IT Risk Management
  • Network Security
  • Application Security
  • Security Operations
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Remote Access Technologies
• Knowledge of:
  • Change Management
  • Incident Management
  • Configuration Management
  • Vulnerability Management
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
• Experience in large enterprise environments, consulting firms, or Fortune 500 organizations.
• Telecommunications or cable industry experience.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and CIS.
• Public cloud security architecture experience.
• Container security architecture experience.
• Experience embedding security practices within Agile/DevSecOps development teams.
