Your Opportunity + Impact

The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst plays a key role in advancing LDG's data strategy by designing scalable analytics solutions, leading BI development initiatives, and shapingdatadrivendecision making across the organization.

Reporting to the Director - Business Intelligence, this role partners closely withcrossfunctionalleaders to define analytic needs, architect data models, oversee complex reporting solutions, and ensure LDG's BI environmentoperateswith accuracy, reliability, and governance discipline.

The Senior BI Analyst combines deep technicalexpertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to mentor others while driving continual improvement in LDG's data and analytics ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the design, development, and optimization of advanced dashboards, datasets, reporting architectures, and analytical models.
  • Serves as asubjectmatterexpert in BI tools, data modeling best practices, and system integrations.
  • Partners with leadership to define analytics strategy, prioritize initiatives, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Performs advanced data validation, auditing, and troubleshooting to ensurehighqualityenterprise reporting.
  • Overseesdocumentation of BI systems, data models, workflows, governance standards, and future-state architecture.
  • Designs and enhances complex queries, ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, andcrossplatformintegrations.
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to analysts, offering technical review andbestpracticerecommendations.
  • Leads stakeholder engagements to define business requirements, evaluate reporting needs, and develop actionable insights.
  • Conducts indepth analysis of operational, financial, and projectbased performance data; delivers executiveready insights.
  • Drives improvements to ERP, CRM, project performance dashboards, and contract management reporting systems.
  • Researchesemerging analytics tools, technologies, andpractices;recommends enhancements to data architecture and BI strategy.
  • Develops andmaintainsrobust application interfaces thatintegrate AI capabilities(e.g.,RAG pipelines,LLM APIs) into new and existing software architectures.

Education and Experience

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in DataAnalytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred
  • Experience:5+ yearsof experience in BI, data analytics, reporting, or related technical fields. Experience in A/E or professional services environments preferred.
  • Certifications:Professional certifications in BI or analytics (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Azure, AWS)stronglypreferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expert-levelproficiencywith Power BI (preferred), Tableau, or other enterprise BI tools.
  • Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of relational, dimensional, and semantic data modeling.
  • Experience designing and managing ETL/ELT processes andcloudbaseddata solutions (Azure/AWS).
  • Deep understanding of ERP, CRM, and operational systems (DeltekVision/Vantagepoint a strong plus).
  • Experiencedeveloping withand integrating AI tooling into existing code basesis stronglypreferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to create andmaintaintechnical documentation and governance artifacts.
  • Strong analytical,criticalthinking, andproblemsolvingabilities.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex findings to executives andnontechnicalaudiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, andprojectmanagementcapabilities.
  • Ability to manage complex,crossfunctionalinitiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite.
