Infor is looking for a Director of Marketing Operations, who will own Infor's Marketing Technology stack as commercial infrastructure, leading the multi-year capability roadmap, vendor portfolio, and Fund / Fix / Exit lifecycle across a large revenue technology portfolio.
The role is accountable for MarTech cost control, contractual risk, compliance posture, and rationalization of the stack against measurable commercial outcomes, and shapes CMO, CRO, and CIO thinking on where the tech stack goes next.
The role leads a program management function and an internal Innovation build capability, operating as the interlock with Marketing Operations on demand, with IT Operations on platform integration, security, and identity, and with Engineering and Data on internal builds and AI-enabled marketing direction.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Owns the multi-year MarTech capability roadmap, reference architecture, and the internal and custom MarTech surface (data products, APIs, and composable integration patterns), shaping CMO, CRO, and CIO thinking on where the stack goes next. Brings product management rigor to the portfolio (roadmap, prioritization, internal-customer management, and TCO analysis), ensuring build-vs-buy decisions stand up on both PM discipline and financial evidence.
- Leads the platform MarTech vendor portfolio end to end, including commercial negotiations, renewals, contractual risk management, and Fund / Fix / Exit decisions based on ROI and capability-gap evidence. Governs MarTech compliance (contractual, data, and regulatory) and the financial discipline behind the portfolio: budget forecasting, true-ups, license reconciliation, PO governance, and VMO interlock.
- Operates as the interlock with Marketing, Marketing Operations, IT Operations, and Engineering / Data, translating business demand into technical solutions, securing IT-side delivery on integrations, SSO, OAuth, and platform security, and partnering with the Director of Marketing Operations on capability uplift across the customer journey.
- Owns Infor's point of view on AI-enabled marketing, bringing AI literacy as a leadership competency.
- Maintains a working understanding of AI capabilities and limits, active fluency with AI-native and AI-forward vendors, and how AI should reshape the stack.
- Leads experimentation across the portfolio, for example modernizing orchestration through composable automation, and translates findings into investment and rationalization recommendations, operating within Infor's AI governance framework.
- Scope of decision-making owns vendor renewal posture, contractual terms within delegated authority, and platform remediation decisions; advises on Marketing Operations business cases; escalates investment decisions and platform-exit calls to the Head of Revenue Technology.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in Marketing Technology, RevOps, or technology portfolio leadership roles, including direct ownership of a multi-vendor SaaS portfolio at material ARR, with working knowledge of core MarTech categories and tooling: marketing automation (e.g. Pardot), CMS (e.g. Sitecore), CDP, conversational platforms (e.g. Qualified), ABM, and content supply chain.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-year MarTech capability roadmaps and stack rationalization programs (Fund / Fix / Exit, build-vs-buy, or vendor displacement) at portfolio scale, with product management or roadmap-discipline experience informing build-vs-buy decisions on PM rigor and TCO rather than vendor preference.
- Direct experience leading SaaS vendor negotiations, contract execution, and contractual risk management, with comfort in the detail of pricing models, MSAs, DPAs, renewal mechanics, and audit clauses. Infor's Vendor Management team will support this role.
- Experience operating as the technical interlock between Marketing Operations and an IT / Infrastructure function, including security, identity, and integration governance.
- People management and supervisor experience, with the credibility to lead a program management and innovation function and influence cross-functional senior leaders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Infor's adjacent stack (Salesforce, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, HG Insights, Sitecore, Content Hub).
- Experience inside a VMO or vendor governance function within a global B2B software organisation.
- Any combination of compliance, contractual, or audit-facing experience aligned to SOX, GDPR, or DPA control and Works Council framework experience.
- Experience partnering closely with Engineering and Data teams on internal builds, APIs, and platform extensions, with familiarity with SFDC CRM Analytics, Snowflake, or modern revenue-data architectures and composable data product patterns.
- Experience operating in a PBM (Principle-Based Management) or equivalent commercial-governance culture
