Overview

These positions play a critical role in driving business growth, providing strategic and operational support that empowers our teams in the field to deliver exceptional results.The Supply Analyst supports the FNA Supply segment by providing analytical, operational, and commercial support to maximize profitability, optimize supply strategies, and ensure continuity of product availability across the business. This role supports the negotiation, administration, analysis, and execution of both term and spot supply agreements while partnering cross-functionally to align purchasing strategies with operational and customer demand needs. Working closely with Supply leadership, Wholesale, Transportation, Finance, and external suppliers, the Supply Analyst contributes to demand forecasting, pricing analysis, contract administration, supplier performance management, and day-to-day supply operations. This position plays a key role in identifying cost-saving opportunities, supporting supplier relationships, resolving operational issues, and driving efficiencies across supply activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support Supply leadership in developing and integrating purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives, supply needs, and profitability goals across all business segments.
  • Analyze supply markets, pricing trends, supplier performance, and purchasing opportunities to support informed business decisions and maximize profitability.
  • Assist in the negotiation, analysis, and administration of both term and spot supply contracts, including pricing, volume commitments, and contract compliance.
  • Perform day-to-day operational support activities across the FNA Supply segment to ensure continuity of supply, timely execution, and operational efficiency.
  • Support demand forecasting activities by analyzing business trends, customer needs, inventory levels, and supply requirements for Wholesale and Supply operations.
  • Monitor demand patterns and collaborate with internal stakeholders to anticipate supply requirements and minimize supply disruptions or cost impacts.
  • Provide support in physical product trading activities, including transaction coordination, documentation, communication, and execution support.
  • Coordinate contract setup, maintenance, updates, and system entry to ensure accurate pricing, documentation, and contractual compliance.
  • Conduct pricing and profitability analysis to support supply decisions, purchasing strategies, and cost optimization efforts.
  • Resolve supplier-related issues, discrepancies, invoicing concerns, and operational conflicts through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with suppliers, internal business teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to support effective communication, issue resolution, and service continuity.
  • Support supplier risk management efforts by assisting Supply Directors/Managers with supplier assessments, compliance monitoring, and risk mitigation activities.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support the development, tracking, maintenance, and communication of operational and performance goals, metrics, and expectations.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation, supporting contract validation, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and supply optimization through negotiation support, data analysis, and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, analyses, and business insights related to supply activity, contract performance, pricing, demand forecasting, and operational trends.
  • Maintain accurate system records, contract files, supplier information, and supporting documentation related to supply operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply, Wholesale, Transportation, Finance, and external suppliers to support business objectives and operational execution.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
  • 1+ years of industry experience in supply, wholesale, logistics, energy, commodity markets, procurement, account management, or a related business function.
  • Foundational knowledge of natural gas liquids (NGLs), transportation, supply operations, pricing structures, sales, contract administration, and/or commodity markets required.
  • 1+ years of experience supporting negotiations, supplier management, sales, purchasing, or commercial discussions preferred.
  • Experience in demand forecasting, customer service, account management, pricing analysis, or supply planning required.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret trends, evaluate data, and support business decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word; advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States
