Overview NaphCare is seeking PRN Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs/LVNs) to join our healthcare team at the Washoe County Jail in Reno, Nevada. This PRN opportunity offers a premium pay rate of $40.60/hr and is ideal for nurses seeking schedule flexibility, supplemental income, and the opportunity to expand their clinical experience in a unique healthcare environment. As a Correctional LPN, you will work alongside correctional officers, registered nurses, providers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care within a secure setting. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring chronic conditions, performing nursing assessments, assisting with treatments, responding to urgent medical needs, and supporting continuity of care for an underserved patient population. Physical Capabilities: Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
