Description Job Title: Material Handler Location: Melbourne, FL Employment: Temporary, opportunity to extend Industry: Manufacturing Compensation: $18/ hour Schedule: 40 hours/ week About the Opportunity: In this role, you will support critical material handling and logistics operations within a leading aerospace manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials, parts, and equipment while maintaining compliance with customer requirements and industry regulations. You will work closely with warehouse, production, purchasing, and shipping teams to ensure materials are available when needed, inventory records remain accurate, and products are prepared and shipped according to contractual and export control requirements. APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Check goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices Maintain records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Package and prepare products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped. Review customer orders, examine, stock and distribute merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines. Possess an in-depth understanding of shipping, export control, and WAWF. Review contracts or specific shipping instructions. Job Requirements Here's what requirements you'll need: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of Material Handling experience Here's what sets you apart from other candidates that our clients prefer: 3 years aviation/aerospace experience Material Handling. Willingness to work overtime to support business needs required.
