Job Summary The Center for Precision Psychiatry (CPP) at Mass General Hospital is seeking applications for a full-time Sr. Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to coordinate and administer projects led by Dr. Rebecca Fortgang. This position is particularly well-suited for anyone interested in pursuing graduate study in the fields of psychology, public health, or medicine. Experience working with clinical research studies and strong interpersonal skills are strongly preferred.Summary: Works very independently under minimal supervision to enroll eligible patients in clinical research protocols and manage all aspects of data collection and submission for multiple cancer studies. Will be the liaison between the clinical team, sponsor, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) to ensure appropriate communication and reporting. Will assist management in the areas of Quality Control, Training, & Development and may provide input into the assessment of departmental procedures. The position involves a combination of data abstraction and entry, regulatory management, and patient coordination. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions: -Assist the clinical team in screening potential patients for study participation. -Maintain point of contact communication with enrolled patients and assist with front-line questions regarding study participation. -Verify adequate documentation of consent, required screening tests and procedures, and eligibility criteria to ensure patients meet all criteria. -Enroll patients as required by the study sponsor and internal enrollment monitor team. -Obtain protocol clarifications from the study sponsor and communicate information to the research team. -Organize and prepare for internal and external audits. -Prepare and submit protocol amendments, continuing reviews, and safety reports to the IRB. -Revise informed consent documents to include new risk information and/or updated protocol requirements through the course of the study.
