Description and Requirements We are hiring an early-career Quality Engineer to join our growing Quality Assurance team at the NCSC Whitsett site. These onsite roles will support product and process quality across Lenovo's server-manufacturing operation. You will work closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and other quality professionals to investigate quality concerns, analyze performance information, support audits, and contribute to quality and process improvements. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, including CPT or OPT. Key Responsibilities Support daily quality-assurance and quality-control activities in the manufacturing environment. Monitor product-quality performance and analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Assist with root-cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Participate in process audits, inspections, and compliance activities. Work with production, engineering, and supplier teams to resolve quality issues. Contribute to continuous-improvement initiatives using quality tools and methodologies. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or a related discipline. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate with production, engineering, supplier, and quality teams. Ability to work onsite at the NCSC Whitsett site 40 hours a week and support the assigned first- or second-shift schedule. Preferred Qualifications Coursework, internship, project, or work experience involving quality, manufacturing, testing, or engineering. Exposure to quality tools, quality-assurance practices, or continuous-improvement methods. Experience collecting or analyzing quality, manufacturing, laboratory, or test data.
