To learn more about Conti Federal, please visit http://www.contifederal.com/ General Position Description The Global Director of Quality is responsible for managing and continuously improving the company's Quality Management System (QMS) across all regions to ensure project execution meets or exceeds client expectations for safety, quality, compliance, and documentation, while aligning with corporate objectives. This role will lead the global quality strategy, oversee the development and performance of regional Quality Control Managers, and implement standardized quality processes across international operations. The individual must demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence in a multicultural and multinational environment. The Global Director of Quality provides executive leadership and oversight of all corporate quality control systems across federal, military, and international construction programs. This role ensures companywide compliance with USACE, NAVFAC, FAR, and international standards while driving a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and independent quality governance. The Director leads a globally distributed team responsible for executing CQC programs, guaranteeing contract adherence, and protecting the integrity of project delivery worldwide. The Global Director of Quality ensures that Conti Federal maintains uncompromising quality standards across all global operations-protecting mission readiness, client confidence, and the company's reputation for excellence. This is a global position with a home office based in Orlando, FL, USA; however, the actual work location is flexible and may vary based on business needs. International travel is required. Responsibilities

- Client Engagement & Satisfaction: Establishes and maintains professional relationships with clients and their representatives around the world. Proactively collects and analyzes client feedback and drives necessary corrective actions globally.
- Data-Driven Improvement: Gathers, analyzes, and reports on global quality metrics to executive leadership. Uses insights to implement continuous improvement initiatives companywide.
- Standardization & Best Practices: Leads the development, deployment, and training of standardized quality control processes and tools across all global operations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
- Training & Development: Champions continuous learning by providing international team members with opportunities for training, cross-training, and skills development aligned with evolving industry standards.
- Process Optimization: Encourages innovation and challenges global teams to improve processes and eliminate waste. Promotes Lean principles and quality improvements that enhance competitiveness and profitability across regions.
- Strategic Execution: Translates corporate strategic objectives into quality-focused initiatives that align with local regulations, cultural expectations, and international standards.
- Supplier/Subcontractor Oversight: Participates in the global procurement process to ensure high-quality partners are selected. Supports qualification, auditing, and improvement of international suppliers/subcontractors.
- Quality Management System: Leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the corporate QMS to ensure global compliance and performance against KPIs.
- Audit & Compliance: Oversees and performs internal audits across all regions. Reports audit outcomes to senior leadership and leads global corrective action and follow-up.
- Provide governance: Leads across design-build and construction activities to ensure adherence to USACE, NAVFAC, FAR, EM 385-1-1, and other applicable frameworks.
- Client Engagement & Stakeholder Coordination: Collect and analyze client feedback to identify risks, drive improvements, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement & Data-Driven Execution: Develop and report global quality performance metrics to executive leadership, using data to drive continuous improvement across operations.
Qualifications
- For Security Clearance Requirements - must be a US Citizen, as required.
- 20+ years of experience leading quality, construction, or engineering functions across federal and international programs.
- Bachelor's (4 Year) Degree from anaccreditedcollege or university in one of the following disciplines:

- Building Science
- Executive leadership, strategic vision, and organizational influence across a multicultural environment.
- Proven global or multi-regional leadership experience in Quality Management within the construction, engineering, or related industries.
- Demonstrated experience in managing cross-cultural teams and working in diverse regulatory environments.
- Demonstrated experience with USACE, NAVFAC, FAR, federal contracting standards, and commissioning requirements.
- Current USACE Construction Quality Control for Contractors certification
- Proficient in the Three Phases of Control Quality Management System utilized by USACE and other Federal Government Agencies
- Training in and experience with the USACE Resident Management System (RMS) 3.0
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills across cultures.
- Familiarity with global project management and collaboration tools is an asset.
- American Concrete Institute (ACI) Certifications preferred
- Experience in Lean Construction preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, etc.)
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crouching, kneeling, crawling or stretching
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
