Job Description QC Inspector I Iowa Park Requisition ID: 55950 If you are a current employee click here to apply. Job Description Pay: $17.25 - $21.00/hour RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with the Material Review Board (MRB) areas. Utilize approved testing methods and procedures to inspect impounded materials for conformance to all product specifications. Provide data for dispositioning material, quality reports and corrective actions. Contain and control nonconforming material and escalate as necessary. Releases products that are fit-for-use (FFU) for the customer, and scrap products that are not. Maintain a "voice of the customer" mindset. Follow all applicable EHS, Quality and Food Safety procedures and protocols, and report any incidents to his/her supervisor. Assist in projects and tasks assigned by Manager. Qualifications Specialized quality training or quality certifications a plus. Able to work independently and stay on task. Must possess an aptitude for using a computer. Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency. Strong working knowledge of the manufacturing processes a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable presenting information to groups of people at various levels. Ability to multi-task several projects simultaneously. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
