Now Hiring: Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Maple Grove, MN (100% Onsite) Pay Rate: Up to $62.95/hour We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development, assembly, and testing of advanced mechanical systems in a highly technical engineering environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for engineers with experience in mechanical design, CAD modeling, product development, manufacturing support, and defense or aerospace engineering. Key Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical systems, structures, mechanisms, tooling, and related components Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using PTC Creo Parametric Perform engineering analysis, testing, validation, and product development activities Interpret design specifications, drawings, models, and test data to ensure compliance with engineering and industry standards Support manufacturing, assembly, and production teams during product development and testing Prepare technical documentation, engineering reports, and presentations Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and manufacturing partners to resolve technical challenges Assist with project planning, schedules, budgets, and continuous product improvements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering 4+ years of mechanical engineering or product design experience Minimum 2 years of experience with Creo/Pro-E CAD modeling and drawing creation Strong knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and tolerance stack analysis Experience supporting manufacturing, prototyping, and production environments Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills Experience with Windchill or similar PLM/PDM systems preferred Familiarity with military, aerospace, or highly regulated engineering standards is a plus Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Pet Insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Health Savings Account (HSA) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts AD&D Insurance People Perks Program The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role.
