We value and rely on the unique talents and contributions of our employees to absolutely excel in member engagement by Delivering Signature Experience.Salary Grade: 154NSalary Pay Range for This Position: $27.16 - $38.01POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Facilities & Administrative Services, assist with routine and non-routine projects, including building maintenance and repair projects, branch build-outs, corporate build-outs, and relocations. Coordinate and monitor project activities with internal departments and outside vendors as appropriate to complete projects. Provide back up support for all mailroom functions. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS: Strive to provide services in a timely and cost-effective manner, and in accordance with established service quality levels. Respond to all requests from internal members in a timely manner. Assist with routine and non-routine building maintenance and repair projects for corporate and branch locations, including but not limited to replacing light bulbs, clearing minor stoppages in toilets and sinks, adjusting thermostats, painting and cleaning building perimeter surfaces. Assists with the coordination of construction projects for corporate and branch locations. Maintain engineering spaces and building equipment and supply inventories. Perform general labor, including carrying, stacking and sorting of materials and equipment used in and around the building. Assists with special event set-ups and clean up. Support entire mailroom function which includes projects and printing jobs as well as laminating, cutting, pasting, padding and distributing. Assists with forms inventory and distribution. Establishes and maintains relations with vendors. OTHER POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Assist with special projects as assigned by the Administrative Services Director/Manager. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School education or two years of trade tech courses in carpentry and electrical. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Equipment repairs such as copiers, fax machines, printers, and all other office equipment, use of forklift, hand trucks, pallets jacks, power tools, running postage meter machine, working knowledge of computers, setup of partitions and desks, build storage racks and miscellaneous items, general knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of Credit Union staff and management, as well as external vendors, service representatives, and delivery persons. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, sufficient to produce accurate and grammatically correct correspondence and reports and to represent the Credit Union in a professional manner. Skill in prioritizing assignments when there are changes in workload and/or competing deadlines. Ability to work pro-actively and independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work overtime as required to assist with off hour projects, respond to emergency situations at the building or branches and provide coverage as needed for special after hours events. Ability to comply with Credit Union standards, policies, and procedures, and to set a positive example regarding standards and compliance. A valid California driver's license, proof of insurance, and a favorable driving record suitable to meet current Credit Union insurance rating requirements are required. COMPUTER SKILLS: Basic knowledge in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk about four hours a day, stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, climb ladders or balance, stoop kneel, crouch, crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must be able to lift heavy boxes, fire proof cabinets, furniture and equipment of more than 50 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
