Landscape Architecture Project Manager - Fayetteville or Bentonville, AR
Halff is seeking a Landscape Architect Project Manager for our Fayetteville or Bentonville, AR office. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of landscape architects, planners, engineers, and others to provide management on a wide variety of public and private landscape architecture and planning projects.
Project emphasis includes park, recreation and trail planning and design; urban park, plaza, streetscape and transportation enhancements; land development; planting design; and support for planning on public and private sector projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment to help clients plan, design, and implement projects.
All applicants will have the option to work from the Halff Bentonville or Fayetteville office, but will be expected to travel periodically to the other NWA offices.
What you will do:
- Work with the design teams and consultants through all design phases from concept through construction.
- Lead projects teams to meet project schedules and budgets.
- Prepare construction document packages, specifications, and bidding documents.
- Manage multiple project simultaneously.
- Coordinate with clients and consultants.
- Participate in construction and administration.
- Contribute to planning and design for parks, trails, recreation, and development.
What we're looking for:
- Strong design skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Ability to anticipate client and project needs.
- Ability to teach your skills to other staff.
- Experience with master planning, parks, trails, recreation, and planting design is a plus.
- Collaborative mindset with a commitment to a positive team culture.
- Be proficient with computer applications including AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office, with the ability to teach designers how to efficiently operation.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
- Arkansas registration as a Professional Landscape Architect, or the ability to acquire registration within a year period.
- 5 years of experience demonstrating leadership skills, minimum, as a Professional Landscape Architect.
- Familiarity preparing proposal/scope of work documents and reviewing invoices/submitting.
- Ability to travel periodically, primarily in state, to support project needs.
