What to Expect
The Field SIU Adjuster plays a critical role in detecting and preventing insurance fraud by investigating suspicious claims. This position involves analyzing claims, gathering evidence, conducting interviews, and collaborating with legal teams or law enforcement in-person to ensure the integrity of the claims process. The role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to uncover fraudulent activity and support resolution of investigations.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct in-person visits to body shops, medical facilities, and accident scenes to gather information related to an investigation
  • Examine insurance claims to identify potential fraud or misconduct
  • Collect and analyze documents, financial records, and other relevant information
  • Conduct interviews with claimants, witnesses, and other involved parties
  • Use data analysis techniques to identify trends and patterns indicative of fraud
  • Collaborate with legal teams, law enforcement, and other relevant parties to resolve investigations
  • Document findings, conclusions, and recommendations in detailed investigation reports

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field, or equivalent experience in law enforcement, insurance, or related investigative field
  • Ability to travel to repair facilities, medical facilities and accident scenes for onsite inspections and other in-person tasks as needed
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying fraudulent activity
  • Meticulous attention to detail for thorough investigations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and interactions
  • California Driver's license required
  • Property and Casualty (P&C) adjuster's license in the state of domicile, plus non-resident adjuster's licenses in all other states where required-or the ability to obtain them within 60 days of starting

    Expected Compensation
    $87,400 - $131,100/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
