Pay Range: $18.50 - $21.80

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00 pm-11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

Job Description



  • Print, download, and prepare all shipping-related reports, including:


    • WMS reports (Receipts, Work Assignments, Micro reports, and related shipping documents)
    • Customer orders and sample orders


  • Record, print, distribute, and maintain all documentation required for outbound shipments.
  • Upload completed load information and verify shipment accuracy through system and documentation review.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping departure logs, bills of lading, pallet reports, invoices, and other shipping records.
  • Utilize SAP to process shipping transactions, review orders, generate reports, and maintain accurate shipping records.
  • Operate shipping and receiving scanning devices (RF scanners/handheld devices) to process inventory movements, shipment confirmations, and receiving transactions.
  • Coordinate with Shipping Supervisors, Lead Persons, Warehouse personnel, and Transportation partners to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
  • Communicate order changes, additions, delays, or discrepancies to management and appropriate departments.
  • Verify shipment quantities, product information, and load documentation for accuracy.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, as needed, to support shipping operations.
  • Assist with inventory verification, load reconciliation, receiving activities, and recordkeeping.
  • Support departmental initiatives and process improvement projects.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by management.


  • May be required to clean areas as requested



Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or general office experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP required, including shipping, receiving, inventory, and reporting functions.
  • Experience using shipping and receiving scanning devices (RF scanners, handheld scanners, or warehouse management system equipment) required.
  • Proficient computer and data entry skills with the ability to accurately enter and maintain shipping information.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute and perform ten-key operations by touch.
  • Strong mathematical, reading, written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience required.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to work flexible schedule (schedules may change due to business needs)
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on product quality and safety
  • Knowledge of, or willingness to be trained on, food safety, best practices and regulations
  • Must have good attendance
  • Must be able to work safely and maintain good safety record
  • Must be able to lift 5-50lbs repetitively
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods on hard surfaces.
  • Must be to follow instructions
  • Ability to work in wet, cold and/or hot environment
  • Must adhere to GMPs
  • Requires the ability to perform physical tasks in hot and cold environments
