Idaho National Laboratory Business Management group is seeking a FUNDS ADMINISTRATOR to work in our Business Management group. This team works a 9x80 schedule, onsite in our Idaho Falls offices with every other Friday off. Responsibilities include: Administer reimbursable work (RW) funding per applicable DOE Financial Management Handbook requirements. Proficient in appropriations terminology and agreements terms and conditions to effectively identify funding and project period of performance necessary for project setup. Administer projects which includes verifying new funding, establishing new projects in the financial system, posting new funding, maintaining period of performance dates, issuing funding authorizations, closing completed projects, updating projects with key points of contract, assisting with management of Strategic Partnership Projects authorized ceiling, and maintaining project files and templates. Reconciles the Approved Financial Plan (AFP) to address discrepancies prior to loading into the financial system. Supports Planning and Financial Controls, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, as well as interacting with all levels of management. Is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for both Funds Administrator roles (RW and AFP) and cross trains for adequate backup support. Other responsibilities include management of the pre-contractual funds process and reporting; development of key performance indicators (KPIs); maintaining procedures; and supporting audits and Agreements Management with data calls. Support special projects such as implementation and testing of OMB Circular A-123 initiatives, Self-Assessments, financial system replacement/upgrades, and supporting Agreements Management and/or Accounts Receivable implement their initiatives. Minimum Requirements: Level 2-Bachelor's Degree and 2 years relevant experience or a Master's degree. Degrees in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Level 3-Bachelor's Degree and 5 years relevant experience or a Master's degree and 2 years of relevant experience. Degrees in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
