About Duke Primary Care Pursue your passion for caring with Duke Primary Care, which offers family, adolescent, and internal medicine services as well as urgent, general pediatric, and virtual care at nearly 50 clinic locations across central North Carolina. Job Location MULTIPLE LOCATIONS AVAILABLE Job Summary Provide acute care, chronic care, preventive care and prenatal care to new and established patients of all ages in a primary care setting. Job Eligibility Requirements Education NP: Graduate of an accredited MSN or DNP Nurse Practitioner Program PA: Graduate of ARC accredited Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree Physician Assistant Program. Certification NP: NP-C (can be FNP, AGNP, AGPCNP, PNP-PC, etc.) PA: PA-C Both: AHA approved BLS certification is required before hire. ACLS and PALS must be completed after hire. Licensure NP: Current unrestricted RN license issued by or recognized by NCBON with approval to practice as NP PA: Current unrestricted license issued by NCMB with approval to practice as a PA Both: Federal and State DEA license with unrestricted prescriptive authority Experience: Experience working as a PA or NP in a primary care setting is preferred but not required Job Duties and Responsibilities
