Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Join Arcwood Environmental as a Material Handler in Benton. You'll work alongside an experienced team to safely receive, move, process, and prepare materials for storage and shipment at our waste treatment facility.

This is a hands-on, active role for someone who likes working with equipment, being part of a team, and getting the job done safely and the right way.

What You'll Do

    Load, unload, move, and process solid and liquid materials
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, Bobcats, pumps, and hydraulic balers
  • Prepare, label, and organize containers for storage and shipment
  • Collect material samples and perform basic compatibility checks
  • Use barcode equipment to track inventory and material movement
  • Keep work areas and equipment clean, organized, and safe
  • Wear required PPE and follow established safety procedures
  • Learn and follow environmental, DOT, OSHA, and facility requirements
  • Pitch in wherever needed to help the team succeed


Education

You may be a great fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)


Experience

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Have experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, environmental, construction, or other hands-on work environment (1+ years)
  • Are comfortable working around industrial equipment and in a physically active environment
  • Take safety seriously and follow procedures
  • Are dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn
  • Work well as part of a team

40-hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus, but not required.
