The Senior HR Generalist provides experienced administrative, coordination, and operational support to the HR Business Partner team across the full employee lifecycle. This role ensures HR processes are executed accurately, consistently, and on time by coordinating employee lifecycle activities, supporting recurring HR programs, and maintaining HR documentation and resources. This role will partner with HR specialists across multiple functional areas to deliver a seamless experience for employees and managers, contributing directly to the effectiveness and credibility of the HR function.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to HR Business Partners, including preparing employee correspondence, change letters, documentation, forms, and other materials that support employee and manager interactions
  • Manage employee lifecycle administration from onboarding through separation, coordinating required activities, documentation, and system transactions to ensure an efficient and consistent employee experience
  • Coordinate recurring HR processes and annual programs, including performance management, engagement surveys, merit and promotion cycles, workforce planning activities, policy acknowledgements, and other enterprise HR initiatives
  • Enter, update, and maintain employee information within HR systems while partnering with HR Operations and other HR specialists to ensure timely and accurate processing
  • Prepare routine reports, trackers, data summaries, presentation materials, and other resources that support HR Business Partners and HR leadership
  • Maintain HR content across employee resource platforms, including the HR intranet, forms, process documentation, FAQs, and other self-service resources, ensuring information remains current, accurate, and user-friendly
  • Support the development and maintenance of manager resources, templates, and reference materials in partnership with HR Business Partners and the Employee Communications team
  • Maintain the organization's job description library, including version control, formatting consistency, documentation, and coordination of updates
  • Maintain and coordinate the enterprise HR process calendar, tracking key milestones, recurring activities, and deadlines to support effective planning and execution across the HR function
  • Coordinate employee engagement survey administration, including timelines, logistics, tracking, reporting support, and follow-up activities
  • Partner with HR specialists across Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Learning and Development, Employee Communications, and other functional areas to coordinate work requiring multiple HR disciplines
  • Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives through coordination, documentation, scheduling, tracking, and follow-through
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, and employee self-service resources, recommending practical enhancements that improve efficiency and the overall employee experience
  • Serve as a backup resource for the HR call intake function as needed
  • Handle employee information and HR matters with a high degree of professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • 5+years of progressive human resources experience, including employee lifecycle administration, HR program coordination, employee and manager support, and cross-functional collaboration within an HR organization
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate competing deadlines, and ensure consistent execution of recurring HR processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional correspondence, documentation, reports, and presentations, and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with experience working in enterprise HR systems and comfort preparing reports, tracking information, and maintaining HR documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting HR Business Partners or senior HR leaders in a complex or matrixed organization
  • Experience using Workday or another enterprise HR information system
  • Experience coordinating enterprise HR programs such as performance management, engagement surveys, or annual talent processes
  • Experience supporting process improvement initiatives and maintaining employee-facing HR resources
