What to Expect The Parts Quality Engineering Technician works with cross-functional teams (Design, Quality, Production, Sustaining, and Supply Chain) throughout the entire lifecycle of a product (from initial design through prototype development and into full production). Her/His role consist of make sure the production line is quickly protected from parts quality related issues through providing quick response to containment requests from production/quality teams while completing documentation for sorts and reworks (defining a proper method of inspection). The Parts Quality Technician communicates with suppliers to expedite containment actions and follow up with corrective action owners, collaborating on the RCCA processfinding, additionally, ways to reduce cost through inspection/rework method identification.
