Position Summary

Serves as the group functional owner and decision authority for SAP S/4HANA processes across Sales, Customer Service, Pricing and Distribution. Reporting to the Group VP Business Development, this role leads group-wide SAP business process strategy, deployment governance, fit-to-standard adoption, and sustainment across group divisions and locations.

This role serves as the group functional business process leader for assigned SAP-enabled commercial and customer-facing processes. The position will drive adoption of Parker standard SAP business processes, support fit-to-standard decision making, and ensure consistent execution across group divisions and locations.

The role partners closely with Corporate SAP S/4HANA Business Process Leaders, group SAP IT, division leadership, sales, customer service, pricing, distribution, supply chain, finance, operations, and site-level stakeholders to align solution design, testing, deployment readiness, adoption, and post-go-live sustainment.

Reports directly to the Group VP Business Development. Maintains a strategic partnership with Corporate SAP S/4HANA Business Process Leaders, Group SAP IT Lead, division leadership, operations, supply chain, finance, and manufacturing stakeholders.

This role operates in a complex, matrixed environment requiring alignment across Corporate SAP teams, group leadership, division leadership, manufacturing locations, supply chain, procurement, operations, finance, IT, and end users. The position must balance Parker enterprise SAP standards with division-specific operational requirements while driving process standardization, resolving cross-functional conflicts, managing implementation risk, and ensuring business continuity during SAP deployment and stabilization.

Responsibilities

SAP S/4HANA Deployment Leadership

  • Lead deployment of SAP S/4HANA sales, customer service, pricing, distribution, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Support divisions with readiness, pre-work, process assessments, data preparation, testing, training, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and stabilization.
  • Identify process gaps, risks, exceptions, data needs, and organizational impacts.
  • Drive adoption of Parker standard SAP processes and escalate key risks or decisions.
  • Facilitate workshops to support process standardization, deployment readiness, and sustainment.

Business Process Leadership and Governance

  • Serve as group business process leader for SAP-enabled sales, customer service, pricing, distribution, and order fulfillment.
  • Partner with Corporate SAP S/4HANA Business Process Leaders on requirements, design, testing, deployment readiness, and adoption.
  • Support governance forums, process teams, and cross-functional deployment reviews.
  • Ensure processes align with Parker's SAP ERP strategy and enterprise standards.
  • Present readiness status, risks, decisions, and recommendations to group leadership.

Sales Order Management and Customer Service

  • Lead SAP-enabled sales order management and customer service processes.
  • Standardize order entry, order changes, blocks, returns, credits, debits, and customer issue resolution.
  • Partner with sales, customer service, supply chain, operations, and finance to support reliable order execution.
  • Improve order accuracy, visibility, responsiveness, and customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve process discipline.

Pricing and Commercial Process Management

  • Lead alignment of SAP-enabled pricing, condition management, customer agreements, discounts, surcharges, and commercial master data.
  • Standardize pricing processes with proper governance, approvals, and compliance.
  • Partner with sales, pricing, finance, and division leadership to support margin management and contract compliance.
  • Ensure pricing data and controls support accurate orders, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Identify and escalate pricing gaps, data issues, exceptions, and risks.

Distribution and Order Fulfillment

  • Lead SAP-enabled distribution, delivery, shipping, and fulfillment processes.
  • Standardize delivery creation, picking, packing, shipping, documentation, freight, and customer delivery requirements.
  • Partner with distribution, operations, supply chain, customer service, finance, and logistics to support business continuity.
  • Ensure integration with inventory, production, warehouse operations, transportation, billing, and customer communication.
  • Improve delivery performance, transaction accuracy, customer service, and efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement, Training, and Change Management

  • Build strong relationships with Corporate SAP, group IT, division leadership, sales, customer service, pricing, distribution, supply chain, operations, finance, and site teams.
  • Influence stakeholders to adopt Parker standard SAP processes.
  • Provide coaching and training to implementation teams, process owners, super users, and end users.
  • Lead cross-functional discussions to resolve process issues and support readiness.
  • Support change management to drive engagement and sustained adoption.

Sustainment and Continuous Improvement

  • Support post-deployment sustainment of sales, customer service, pricing, distribution, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Monitor adoption, compliance, stabilization, transaction quality, customer service impacts, and business performance.
  • Partner with Corporate SAP and group IT on enhancements, business cases, and prioritization.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and promote consistent execution across divisions and locations.
  • Ensure deployed processes remain aligned with Parker enterprise standards and business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree in business, supply chain, operations, finance, information systems, sales operations, logistics, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales operations, customer service, pricing, distribution, order management, supply chain, ERP processes, or related commercial operations.
  • 2+ years leading cross-functional projects, implementations, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of sales order management, customer service, pricing, distribution, fulfillment, and ERP-enabled processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead process standardization, fit-to-standard adoption, change management, and deployment readiness.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-influence skills.
  • Ability to work across corporate teams, group leadership, divisions, functions, and locations in a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to manage risk, resolve conflicts, support business continuity, and drive adoption during major system and process changes.
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of commercial impacts on customer service, revenue, margin, delivery, and financial reporting.
  • Direct SAP implementation experience required; SAP S/4HANA experience strongly preferred.
  • SAP Sales and Distribution experience preferred, including order management, pricing, customer master, delivery, billing, returns, credits, and debits.
  • Experience in sales operations, customer service leadership, pricing, distribution, order fulfillment, automation, workflow improvement, or reporting.
  • Experience across multiple manufacturing sites, distribution locations, divisions, or business units preferred.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, process improvement, or project management experience preferred.
  • Industrial manufacturing, engineered products, or complex customer-order fulfillment experience preferred.
  • Salesforce or CRM experience preferred, including account management, pipeline visibility, quote-to-order, and ERP integration.
  • Ability to travel 25%-50%, with increased travel during deployment, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $107,000 to $188,000 annually
