Position Summary Digital & IT Analyst - IPD SAP Business Analysis Overview The IPD Division SAP Business Analyst provides Division-level business systems support across SAP business processes, functional areas, and workstreams used by the IPD Division. This role supports daily SAP operations, troubleshooting, training, testing, documentation, and continuous process improvement for the IPD Division. The position works closely with Division business teams, Division IT, Group IT, Centers of Excellence, Corporate IT, and the Enterprise SAP support team to ensure reliable system performance and effective use of SAP-enabled business processes. The position reports directly to the Division Digital & IT Manager. Position Summary The IPD Division SAP Business Analyst supports business-related information technology requirements and systems for the IPD Division. The position is responsible for analyzing Division business processes, providing day-to-day SAP support, assisting with testing and training, documenting system processes, and helping resolve issues related to SAP functionality across Division workstreams. This role serves as a key liaison between Division users and Enterprise SAP support resources. The analyst provides level one SAP support, troubleshoots business and system issues, documents requirements, supports user acceptance testing, and escalates unresolved or Enterprise-owned SAP issues to the appropriate Enterprise SAP support team. The position may develop functional specifications for Division-owned supplemental tools, reports, interfaces, or systems that support SAP-related processes. Enterprise-owned SAP configuration, customization, and major system changes are coordinated through the appropriate Enterprise SAP and Corporate IT teams. Scope / Supervision and Interaction

- Provides Division-level SAP business analysis and support for IPD business users across SAP-enabled business processes and functional areas.

- Division business functions and process owners
- Division IT and Group IT
- Centers of Excellence
- Corporate IT teams, including DevOps, enterprise architecture, middleware, and security
- Enterprise SAP support teams
- Technical analysts, senior technical analysts, developers, and end users
- Serves as a Division point of contact for SAP support, issue intake, testing coordination, and business process documentation.
- Escalates unresolved SAP issues, Enterprise-owned configuration requests, and system defects to the Enterprise SAP support team.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day level one support for SAP and integrated business systems used by the IPD Division.
- Troubleshoot SAP business process and functional area issues related to transactional processing, master data, reporting, workflows, integrations, and related Division business processes.
- Document, triage, and resolve user-reported SAP issues where appropriate; escalate unresolved or Enterprise-owned issues to the Enterprise SAP support team.
- Analyze Division business requirements and translate them into clear process documentation, support requests, test scenarios, and, when applicable, functional specifications for Division-owned supplemental tools or systems.
- Support SAP functionality by working with business users to identify process gaps, user errors, data issues, integration issues, and system defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Division business functions, IT, and Enterprise SAP resources, to improve business process performance and system usability.
- Provide end-user training and support for SAP business processes and related Division tools.
- Create, review, and maintain end-user documentation, including user guides, process flows, work instructions, training materials, and support procedures.
- Conduct and coordinate system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP updates, enhancements, reports, integrations, and Division-owned tools.
- Assist with deployment readiness activities for SAP updates or related system changes, including communication, testing validation, training, and post-deployment support.
- Work with Division IT, Group IT, COE, Corporate IT, and Enterprise SAP support teams to communicate business requirements and support technical resolution of issues.
- Support SAP integrations with related enterprise applications, reporting platforms, data exchange tools, and other business systems.
- Maintain a strong understanding of IPD business processes and procedures to effectively identify support needs and recommend practical improvements.
- Use business and system data to help identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and support operational efficiency.
- Follow applicable IT standards and processes, including change management, documentation standards, security requirements, and segregation of duties.
- Support continuous improvement of IT support processes, documentation practices, and user training methods.
- Stay informed on SAP best practices, emerging capabilities, and relevant business process improvements.
- Provide analytical guidance regarding applications and technologies that affect Division business operations.
- Assist in developing and implementing appropriate Digital and Information Technology solutions for Division business needs.
- Establish and maintain procedures for proper utilization of SAP, supplemental tools, and related business technologies.
- Develop and deliver training to support process changes, system updates, and new technology introductions.
- Travel overnight to remote locations to assist with implementations, support activities, training, or technical solutions as needed. 10%-15% travel should be expected.[AB1]
- Provide after-hours technical or business systems support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or related field, or international equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of related IT, SAP, business systems, or business analyst experience.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA strongly preferred.
- Travel: This position requires routine travel among the local Alabama facilities and period travel to other divisional locations, generally once per quarter.
- Strong understanding of business processes, functional workflows, master data, reporting, and system-supported operations.
- Experience supporting, testing, troubleshooting, or documenting SAP business processes across one or more functional areas or workstreams.
- Ability to analyze business processes and translate user needs into clear requirements, support documentation, test cases, and training materials.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with business users, IT teams, and technical support resources.
- Ability to establish priorities, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated learning agility, adaptability, and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to support small projects, testing efforts, training activities, or process improvement initiatives.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record are required.
