The Senior Full Stack Engineer will design and build services and platform features for the Gen AI Platform Improvements initiative. This role supports production software delivery across back-end services, front-end experiences, cloud integrations, and AI governance capabilities.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes: * Design and build production services using Python and front-end features using Angular or a comparable JavaScript framework.
* Build and integrate platform capabilities using AWS services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, and EKS.
* Develop features that support AI governance needs, including explainability, observability, and prevention controls.
* Evaluate technical options, document trade-offs, and recommend implementation approaches for platform components.
* Integrate AI model capabilities using tools such as Anthropic Claude API and Model Context Protocol.
* Review code and technical designs while sharing knowledge with engineers across the team.
* Participate in effort estimation and identify scope, dependency, or delivery considerations that may affect outcomes.
Basic Qualifications: * Experience delivering production software in an engineering environment.
* Experience using an AI-assisted coding tool in daily development work, such as Claude Code, AWS Kiro, OpenAI Codex, or a comparable tool.
* Proficiency with Python and full-stack development using Angular or a comparable JavaScript framework.
* Working knowledge of AWS services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, and EKS.
* Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or a comparable agentic framework.
* Experience designing solutions from problem statements and documenting implementation considerations.
* Understanding of responsible AI use, including evaluating outputs, recognizing limitations, and identifying where AI may be applied appropriately.
Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Anthropic Claude API.
* Experience with Model Context Protocol.
* Experience contributing to systems with explainability requirements.
* Experience contributing to systems with observability requirements.
* Experience contributing to systems with guardrail or prevention control requirements.
* Experience collaborating with engineering leads, product partners, or Scrum teams.
* Experience communicating technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
