The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention. The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) supports government and private sector strategic planning, decision making, and program management. SSAG integrates deep client knowledge, advanced analytics, and subject matter expertise to provide timely and objective technical, operational, programmatic, acquisition, and policy analysis. SSAG's clients include the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (OUSW(R&E)), Office of the Under Secretary of War for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSW(A&S)), United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), Secretary of the Air Force Capabilities Development Mission (SAF-CDM), and Air Force NC3 organizations such as Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC).
Responsibilities The candidate shall provide technical leadership developing studies and analyses for emerging NC3 programs, such as the Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC), evaluating and integrating current National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC) and associated missions with enterprise NC3 capabilities and operational concepts, and supporting technical efforts and liaison with program sponsors and DoW NC3 program leadership. Assist in ensuring timely execution of tasks and the quality of technical products through the application of best engineering practices; apply understanding of the capabilities and limitations of current NC3 Airborne capabilities; provide support for the integration of investment portfolios, critical development paths, and mission analysis across the NC3 domain. Develop lifecycle studies and analysis for the SAOC program and lead modeling and simulation efforts for the current and emerging NC3 systems employed to enable the NAOC mission for potential SAOC integration. Prepare senior leaders for engagements across the department in the form of briefing books, read-ahead memos, and daily interactions with key stakeholders, and communicate clearly and concisely to distill a wide variety of information to support senior leader risk analysis and capability investment decisions.
