Georgia Colon & Rectal Surgical Associates utilizes the latest in surgical techniques including laparoscopic surgical technology and colonoscopies, to treat and care for diseases of the colon and rectum.

GCRSA surgeons are trained and experienced in treating diseases of the colon and rectum, which include such problems as hemorrhoids, anal fissures, fistulas, bowel incontinence, the management and treatment of diverticulosis, irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, constipation, benign polyps and malignant diseases of the colon and rectum. In collaboration with the Practice Coordinator/Physician Practice Manager, assists in managing practice operations. Provides support in the development and implementation of departmental goals. The Supervisor Physician Practice may be assigned to multi-site physician practice as needed to provide operational support to the Practice Coordinator/Physician Practice Manager.

This opportunity is intended to be an experienced Medical Assistant, responsible for signing off all clinical staff compentencies and evaluations. This position will be expected to travel to all 7 locations, such as; Alpharetta, Cherokee, Cumming, Dekalb, Gwinnett, Midtown, and Sandy Springs.

REQUIRED

  1. High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education or (1) one year work experience.
  2. Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare/office practice setting. Must include 6 months at a lead or supervisor level in clinical, scheduling and/or front office operations.

PREFERRED

  1. Prefer experience with healthcare billing, imaging or other systems.
