Title: Talent Acquisition Consultant Executive Area: Human Resources College/School/MBU: Human Resources Department: Office of Human Resources Work Location: Amherst Schedule: Full Time Work Arrangement:Hybrid Job Summary This position will work as part of a team responsible for creating and implementing best practices in recruitment and search processes to support the University in attracting the best in talent. This role will maintain exceptional rapport and provide extraordinary customer service throughout the search and hiring process. Essential Functions Monitor all aspects of staff and faculty recruitment and search activities for assigned areas, including advising on and approving search proposals, overseeing management of applicant statuses and communications in the applicant tracking system, and reviewing and approving hiring proposals. Other Functions Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and three (3) or more years of full cycle recruiting experience. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with OFCCP recruiting requirements. Additional Details This position is subject to final budgetary and administrative approval. Working Conditions Work is performed in a standard office or indoor university environment and involves minimal physical exertion. Work Schedule and Work Arrangement Monday through Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. This position has the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule, which is defined by the University as an arrangement where an employee's work is regularly performed at a location other than the campus workspace for a portion of the week. As this position is non-unit, it is subject to the terms and conditions of the University of Massachusetts Board of Trustees Non-Unit (Professional/or Classified) Employee Personnel Policy. This position follows a hybrid work schedule and requires a minimum of three (3) days per week on campus. During peak recruiting cycles and other high-volume periods, on-campus presence may increase to up to five (5) days per week based on business needs.
