The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for supporting material quality assurance processes, including the review and approval of raw materials, management of Certificates of Analysis (COAs), coordination of sampling activities, and maintenance of quality documentation in SAP. This role plays a key part in ensuring that materials meet internal specifications and regulatory standards before being released for use or shipment.

Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • SAP experience highly preferred.


Experience Requirements



  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Inventory, or Materials Management.
  • Experience reviewing quality documentation, material specifications, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs) preferred.
  • Quality Lab, Chemical Handling, Warehouse, or Material Inspection experience is a plus.
  • Forklift experience preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes, material release procedures, and documentation control.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move materials throughout the shift.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift, if required.
  • Steel-toe shoes required.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing, warehouse, or quality laboratory environment.


Job Duties



  • Support quality assurance activities related to raw materials, inventory, and production materials.
  • Review and approve incoming materials to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
  • Manage and maintain Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and other quality documentation.
  • Coordinate material sampling activities and ensure samples are processed according to established procedures.
  • Enter, update, and maintain quality records and material status information in SAP.
  • Verify materials meet internal quality requirements and regulatory standards before release for production or shipment.
  • Investigate, document, and communicate quality concerns to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain accurate records and support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all quality, safety, and company procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
