Benefits Coordinator (Contractor, Part-Time)

Description

The Benefits Coordinator will provide part-time (20 hours/week) support to the Benefits team, focusing on the day-to-day administration of employee benefits. This role is responsible for monitoring system interfaces, supporting new hires and retirees through the benefits process, preparing verification and eligibility documentation, and maintaining accurate vendor data feeds and billing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable working independently across multiple benefits systems and vendor platforms.

This is a temporary contracted position; the successful candidate will be employed by Noor Staffing Group, LLC.

What You'll Do:

Systems Monitoring & Employee Support



  • Monitor UKG benefits interfaces daily to identify and resolve data discrepancies or failed transmissions.
  • Monitor the Benefits Mailbox and respond to or route employee inquiries in a timely manner.


Vendor Billing Administration



  • Review and process monthly vendor billing statements for accuracy against enrollment data.
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies with vendors and coordinate timely resolution and payment.
  • Maintain organized billing records to support audits and month-end close.


Vendor Eligibility File Uploads



  • Upload and reconcile employee eligibility files to Headspace to maintain accurate mental health benefit access.
  • Upload and reconcile employee eligibility files to Scripta to support pharmacy benefit optimization services.


Benefits Project Support



  • Open Enrollment coordination and communication support
  • Year End data validation
  • Compliance support
  • Other ad hoc projects as needed


What You'll Bring:



  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR support role.
  • Familiarity with HRIS/benefits platforms (e.g., UKG) and vendor eligibility file processes.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple recurring tasks independently.
  • Comfortable working with online vendor portals and processing file uploads.
  • Strong written communication skills for preparing employee-facing letters and correspondence.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data.
    Reliable and responsive, with the flexibility to work independently on a part-time schedule.

  • Prior experience in employee benefits or a related field.




Salary: $25 per hour
Contract Duration : 6 months
