The Manager Business Services Sales & Performance leads the execution and performance of Logix's Business Banking sales function, with accountability for team results across business development, pipeline management, portfolio management, and member service. Develops Business Banking Officers into disciplined, consultative relationship managers who acquire and deepen business member relationships across deposits, treasury management, business credit, and strategic partner solutions. Establishes a consistent sales operating rhythm, strengthens branch and enterprise partnerships, uses data to improve execution, and promotes growth that is member-focused, compliant, and consistent with Logix's risk appetite.

Responsibilities

Leads, coaches, and holds Business Banking Officers and Virtual Business Banking Officers accountable for originating and deepening business relationships through targeted prospecting, proactive account planning, disciplined time management, and consistent execution of individual business plans. Develops the team's ability to engage decision-makers, cultivate prospects, members, centers of influence, brokers, community partners, and internal referral sources, and deliver needs-based recommendations with clear expectations and reliable follow-through.
  • Establishes a consistent sales-management cadence that includes pipeline reviews, individual coaching, activity and conversion reviews, field observation, branch engagement, recognition, career development, and timely performance follow-through.
  • Assesses team knowledge and skill gaps and coordinates targeted development in consultative selling, prospecting, networking, presentation skills, negotiation, relationship planning, business cash flow, financial statements, credit fundamentals, treasury management, compliance, and risk identification.
  • Builds a collaborative, empathetic, results-oriented sales culture that reinforces accountability, solution ownership, professional curiosity, adaptability, integrity, and exceptional member service.
  • Develops and executes territory, segment, and campaign strategies using market, portfolio, referral, and performance data to identify priority prospects, industries, geographic opportunities, and relationship-deepening opportunities.
  • Establishes and monitors clear expectations for outbound prospecting, portfolio outreach, centers-of-influence development, community engagement, appointment generation, follow-up, and accurate activity documentation.
  • Represents Logix in the business community and coordinates with Marketing and internal partners on campaigns, events, financial education, thought leadership, and targeted outreach that strengthen awareness and generate qualified opportunities.
  • Maintains an active external network and selectively participates in joint calls, field visits, prospect meetings, branch huddles, and community events to model effective business development and remove barriers for the team.
  • Monitors competitive and market developments; gathers internal and external feedback on the product lineup, member needs, recurring objections, lost-business themes, and process friction; and provides practical recommendations for product, pricing, feature, and delivery enhancements.
  • Owns team execution against approved goals and service standards for new relationships, deposits, active checking, treasury and partner solutions, business credit, portfolio retention, relationship expansion, and member experience.
  • Manages sales pipeline quality, aging, next steps, conversion, and forecasting. Collaborates closely with Commercial Lending, Underwriting management, Credit Administration, and Operations to improve opportunity quality, support timely and well-informed credit decisions, clarify expectations, resolve recurring issues, and maintain sound credit quality without assuming independent underwriting authority.
  • Uses dashboards, scorecards, referral data, production trends, pipeline analytics, portfolio activity, service measures, and quality results to identify gaps early, forecast outcomes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensures bankers actively manage assigned portfolios through relationship reviews, deposit retention, needs-based cross-sell, maturing-loan and delinquency follow-up, transaction and risk awareness, and timely documentation of member contact.
  • Promotes a balanced product mix and full-relationship approach across deposits, treasury management, business credit cards, lines and loans, SBA and other partner referrals, merchant services, payroll, and other approved solutions.
  • Builds effective working relationships with branch leadership and other internal channels, clarifies referral and handoff expectations, reinforces reciprocal partnership, and improves the quality, responsiveness, and conversion of business referrals.
  • Ensures appropriate cross-referrals and coordinated relationship ownership across Business Services, branches, Commercial Lending, Brokerage and Insurance, Marketing, Member Service Center, Fraud, BSA/AML, and other enterprise partners.
  • Champions a high-touch onboarding and service experience for priority relationships, monitors service breakdowns and member feedback, and leads timely resolution and root-cause follow-through.
  • Leads growth within applicable laws, regulations, policy, procedures, approval authorities, and Logix's risk appetite. Contributes business, member, market, and relationship perspectives to Senior Loan Committee discussions, the recommend/approve process, and assigned strategic initiatives within delegated authority. Represents the sales function by providing subject-matter expertise and user feedback, supporting testing and change adoption, and preparing teams and partners for implementation while maintaining independent credit judgment, established governance, accurate documentation, appropriate escalation, transparent control reporting, and sound ethical judgment.
  • Maintains sufficient working knowledge of business deposits, ACH origination, online business banking, remote deposit capture, account analysis, fraud controls, and related compliance requirements to effectively coach the sales team and partner with Sales Operations.
  • Manages assigned expenses and resources within approved budgets and completes required administrative, reporting, audit, and people-management responsibilities accurately and timely.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
