Manager, Pricing & Promotion Systems

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

• Strategic Ownership & Delivery:
• Own, manage, and deliver initiatives and run operations for the "Price, Promo, & Deals" portfolio.
• Lead the administration of business systems and drive efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.
• Focus relentlessly on driving margin, gross profit, execution speed, and competitor agility through IT systems.
• Ensure that business systems analysis activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
• Act as a critical stakeholder in strategic initiatives such ensuring continuity and accurate implementation of pricing functions.
• Ensure that pricing deliverables are executed to meet timelines working with pricing stakeholders.
• Team Leadership & Management:
• Direct, mentor, and evaluate employees, and contracted partners; conduct hiring, performance reviews, and professional skill development.
• Provide training and guidance, and assign tasks to team members, while providing performance feedback.
• Prioritize, direct, and coordinate activities of staff to gather and document requirements, triage and resolve technical problems, and execute project duties, responsibilities, and tasks.
• Fosters an inclusive culture of accountability, continuous learning, and transparent communication across engineering and business teams.
• Systems & Process Expertise:
• Manage business processes and systems analysis across a wide range of applications supporting pricing, promotions, and deals.
• Partner with enterprise pricing architects to ensure system designs meet corporate standards, SOX / IT general controls, and compliance procedures while meeting delivery timelines.
• Design and enforce change management standards, post-deployment automated validation routines, disaster recovery playbooks, and structured system training for business operators.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience directly related to supported and connected business areas, with a strong aptitude for both application systems and operational business process development. 3+ years directly supervising technical staff, managing delivery, and orchestrating cross-functional teams.
• Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
• Agile Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency leading sprints and releases within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks on AWS. This includes coordinating with Product Owners and Business Analysts.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated capability in root-cause troubleshooting, system triage, and business process re-engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry Experience: Experience in a vertical or retail environment.
• System Knowledge: Experience in Retail Price Management/Pricing applications and/or processes is an advantage
• Cloud Applications: Experience with cloud-based applications built on AWS.
• Operational Excellence: Experience in designing and implementing robust change management, post-change validation protocols, and disaster recovery plans.
• Automation Focus: A passion for eliminating manual backend work, dependencies, and building automated pipelines that scale.

The pay ranges outlined below are presented in accordance with state-specific regulations. These ranges may differ in other areas and could be subject to variation based on regulatory minimum wage requirements. Actual pay rates will depend on factors such as position, location, level of experience, and applicable state or local minimum wage laws. If the regulatory minimum wage exceeds the minimum indicated in the pay range below, the regulatory minimum wage will be the minimum rate applied.

Salary Range: $117,400.00 - $194,400.00
