Position Summary:




  • The Catering Assistant provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times.
  • Responsibilities include: setup and clean up of all catered functions, setup of patient coffee areas, and delivery of food and supplies to medical staff lounge.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
  • Interacts with physicians, members of the Board of Directors, Administration, hospital staff, guests, and patients, while providing gracious and attentive services.
  • May perform work in other areas of the department as needed.



Shift:




  • Part-time, Day Shift (20 hrs per week)
  • Wednesday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • Weekend & holiday work required



Education/Experience:




  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read and understand written schedules, menus, and meeting room request forms.
  • Three years of experience required, preferably in catering or customer service in a full service restaurant, or equivalent combination of education and experience to provide required knowledge, skills, and abilities.


Salary Range: Minimum $18.00 per hour - Maximum $28.06 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
