Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) - MIS (25-26) Full-time Faculty Positions Full-time faculty positions will be posted on a per-opening basis. Individuals may enter expressions of interest by submitting their credentials to any posting for which they are qualified to teach. Postings are organized by college/school and department. Screening of individuals in the pool is ongoing, depending on curricular need and funding. Individuals will be contacted by the department if they reach the finalist stage for teaching a particular course or set of courses. The pool will remain in place until the closing date specified in the posting details; those interested in remaining in the pool beyond that time must resubmit. Apply for this Job Posting Details Job ID: 142651 Rank: Assistant Professor College/School: Chicago, IL - Driehaus College of Business Responsibilities: The School of Accountancy & MIS in the Driehaus College of Business at DePaul University in Chicago invites applications for a tenure track position in MIS commencing in the Fall of 2025. Successful candidates are expected to: Deliver high quality courses in the various sub-domains of management Information Systems and business analytics. Develop and maintain an active research agenda that results in quality journal publications. Contribute active and substantial service to the school, college and university. Contribute to the support of the School's student recruitment and retention efforts. Contribute to the overall success of the school and college by participating in workshops, events and other relevant activities. Required Qualifications: Education Requirements: PhD in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited Business School. Candidates who are ABD with potential for high-quality teaching and a clear deadline for completion are encouraged to apply. Qualifications: Scholarly active to be AACSB Scholarly Academic. Previous teaching and professional experience in the information technology field is preferred. Excellent communication skills. About DePaul University's Academic Calendar: Except for the College of Law, DePaul University operates on a quarter system. Classes in Autumn, Winter, and Spring quarters are 11 weeks in length (including finals week) and Summer courses, in two sessions, are typically 5 weeks in length. The College of Law operates on the semester system. Classes in the Fall and Spring semesters are 16 weeks in length (including finals week) and it offers a Summer Session of 7 weeks (including final exams). Salary Information: The salary range for this 10-month position is $129,300 - $160,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
