Afterschool Counselor
Job Summary The Afterschool Counselor is responsible for picking up children from their respective schools and bringing them to their 92NY Afterschool Clubhouse rooms (classrooms divided by grade). They will also be responsible for the general safety and development, growth, and homework support of the participants. The incumbent will provide high quality educational and recreational experiences for participants. Afterschool's fall semester runs from September 9th- June 13th Staff hours are from 2:20pm-6:20 pm. This may change based on the needs of the program. There will be mandatory staff training in advance of the start date as well as bi-monthly staff meetings after children are dismissed. Job Responsibilities Include
Daily supervision of children including meeting program participants at local UES elementary schools including PS 77, PS 198, PS 527, PS 6, PS 151, Hunter, and TAG and bringing them to and from enrichment classes within 92NY.

Per Diem Compensation Range $17 - $25/hour The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. |
